Dream Eight: The Pure Water and the Locked Door

In this dream, I found myself in a bathroom. I looked over and noticed the tub; it was filled with the most beautiful water I had ever seen. The water looked so pure and blue, like it had no impurities. The water rippled a little, but I couldn’t take my eyes off it. Suddenly, I was lifted and submerged headfirst into the water. Surprisingly, I had no fear; it was done with care, as if someone had placed me under gently and brought me up gently.

Each time I came up, I found myself higher than before. This happened three times. Each time I was submerged in the water, I rose higher. The third time, when I realized how high I had been lifted, I became afraid. Out of fear, I brought myself down using the wall and ran out of the bathroom.

When I ran out, the scene changed. I was suddenly outside, at night, and two dogs ran up to me as if they were going to attack. But they didn’t; they only barked. I turned around to go back into the door I left from—to return to the bathroom. But when I got to the door and grabbed the knob, it was locked. Then I woke up.

• “For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.” — Revelation 22:15
• “And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.” — Matthew 25:10

Reflection:
From my understanding,  the pure water represents the Word of God, washing away every impurity. Being submerged three times and lifted higher shows His process of cleansing and elevating me. The number three is divine—Yahshua rose on the third day, holiness is declared threefold (“Holy, holy, holy”), and restoration often comes in threes.

 

In this dream, the three submersions spoke of stages: purification, elevation, and preparation. Yet fear kept me from embracing the fullness of what God was doing. The barking dogs remind me of those who remain outside of His promises—they bark but cannot touch me. The locked door was a warning: when God opens a door, I must walk through without delay.

My thoughts:   

This dream may have revealed profound truths about my spiritual journey. The bathroom and the water represent God’s intimate, cleansing presence — a place where my spirit can be renewed and elevated. Each rise in the water symbolizes the stages of spiritual growth God is bringing me through, lifting me higher in faith, understanding, and purpose.

The fear I felt at the highest rise reflects the natural hesitation of facing new levels of life, growth, and spiritual elevation. The dogs represent exactly what the Word says. In some instances, scripture can interpret scripture.

• “For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.” — Revelation 22:15. I don't believe that it means actual dogs like household pets, more of a posture.

That's what will be outside of His Kingdom. Outside the city, outside the gates, outside God's holy dwelling, the New Jerusalem. That was a warning to me. As if God was letting me know. I have two choices. 

This dream reminds me that even in fear, even in uncertainty, I am being carried, elevated, and prepared for what is perfect — something only God could design just for me, but the choice is still mine.
